We haven't had a bad parking post since July 2022 – not because there hasn't been any bad parking behavior.  Sometimes I see it but don't get the photo and other times it slips my mind due to other more pressing matters.  This bad parking example was noted by the guy who was parked next to me at Safeway.  He was just shaking his head and packing up his groceries.

But hey, if your handicapped space is already taken, just create your own space!  Ignore the cross striping and the No Parking marking.  If it fits, park it.

Curious if anyone else has had this Safeway experience of late: You try to park in their parking lot, say late morning, and there are virtually no vacant spaces at groundlevel or above (like the guy in Joe’s photo concluded). You then enter the store and it’s close to empty. My suspicion is that alot of folks are parking there and running errands elsewhere. So much for getting in and out of Safeway quickly.

Wait for the “airport parking lot” to sprout up at the closed Lucky’s on Murchison…

I sense a lot of people park there and walk over to the Avenue for lunch and maybe a haircut.

  4. How many Parking Spaces have been lost due to “Street Food” on Burlingame Ave?
What does the City of Burlingame “charge” for that “Benefit?” Have there been many “DOD’s” “Death of Diners”(cars crashing into “your” Birthday Party?) since this “hopefully experimental” short term Blight?

Just click on the parking link on the right side and scroll down. All of your questions except the last one have been answered before.

Oh-Oh – Joe, I thought we had all decided to stop responding (to you know who?)

I was channeling HMB who last told him to “Google it”. 🙂
