The replacement eucalyptus tree in front of the Easton Addition library is growing in slowly.  We last checked in on him five years ago here.  He is fondly referred to as Tommy Jr. by friends of his dad who was known far and wide as Tom the Tree and met his demise about ten years ago.  Here is his slender profile today.

  1. That is a great example of Re-Forestation.
As I recall Mr. Timmy Richmond was the force behind replanting a tree equal to the one that was removed.
    Whatever happened to Mr. Richmond?
It would be a good idea to take before and after photo’s of the trees that are planted by City of Burlingame Public Works Dept.
Therefore getting the City of Burlingame homeowners involved.
I was told that the Public Works Tree Division is in the process of being fazed out.
I feel sorry for those excellent workers.

I’m feeling a little fazed myself. What phase am I in if I am in the last phase?

  3. You got me Hillsider…LOL
