Russ did a great job working from memory on the various projects that are already approved or in the works directly below this post. Here is another one that was approved so long ago that I forgot about it until I saw the fencing go up this week–the 76 station at the corner of B'way and El Camino. Gas stations where you can actually get your car serviced are starting to become rare.
What’s going there to replace it?

The damage that occurred at Adeline Dr. and the Cross Street- El Camino Real Gasoline Station has been unable to be used by any Human Being for over 30 years. Most likely 40 years.
Does anyone have any information regarding this City of Burlingame SUPERFUND SITE?
I believe The COB purchased this property about 20 years ago.
If the City purchased it there would not be campaign signs all over the fencing every election. Duh.

Oh no, is this where JML Auto is housed?
The former gas station site at Adeline and ECR has been in private ownership for more than 10 years…Check the deed in the County Recorder’s Office.
Yes, becca, this is the JML Auto 76 station.
Anyone know where JML has relocated to? Johnny Garcia was my go-to guy.
I never thought I would be so glad to see a gas station, but I am. Drove by today and the 76 station is open for business as is JML Auto! Looks like it was new pumps and/or tanks that caused the digging. Sometimes gas station sites are very costly to change to another use, so who knows? Someone knows and maybe they will chime in. In the meantime, gas is back.
