A second family of barn owls has taken up a nest at a Burlingame hotel that has embraced its new role as a protector of wildlife.The San Francisco Airport Marriott Waterfront reported this week that a second family of three young barn owls has been spotted on its balconies.
That's one way to keep the roof rat population in check!
I think I will wait until Oracle’s conference is here in a couple months to fill up the hotels and ask specifically for the Owl room. It sounds so sweet.
I wanted to post this under the Mosquito Board thread, but I couldn’t find it…….still I think it needs to be posted so I picked the wildlife thread (sorry, Joe). Mosquitos seem to be all over this season.
