Moderated comments are back on for a spell. Just leaving the notice at the top of the blog did work too well.

We would love to turn off moderated comments, but the spam is still rolling in. Keep your fingers crossed.

Who knows about the two suicides yesterday and today on the Cal Train route?
I was told it was two BHS Summer School students. -
Unfortunately the two day experiment with removing the moderated comments restriction failed. The spammers figured it out pretty quickly, so we are back to moderating.

We had a good run of almost a week with moderated comments turned off, but I see the spammers are back, so the filter is back, too, for now.
