What a great visual–
I think people who continue to comment about HSR here and elsewhere are wise to do so. It is ONLY because people have continued to raise awareness by questioning, writing, by taking the time to appear in Sacramento to testify, or to express increasing distrust in those tasked with this project, or, indeed. the virtue of the project itself, that any or our representatives are giving it a second look- and those are few and far between.
In reality this probably is a bloated version of what happens under our noses regularly with all kinds of projects– this one is just too large and too mismanaged to look past. While it is nice to sit back and hope it all implodes,
there are any number of consultants taking advantage of the situation while the going is still good.
This has degraded to a sham pyramid scheme of enormous proportion. -
Did anyone see the demonstration in front of the Main Burlingame Post Office today?
It was the Lyndon LaRouche people.
I believe this demonstration was a responce to the Mennorah lighting in Washington Park.
Myself and othersat the Post Office called the City of Burlingame Police to complain and the three people that I know made contact with the City of Burlingame Police got the same responce.
None.
The phone person told me that it was a USPS problem.
I say Hate Crime. -
Sorry to hear that– I saw them too, just couldn’t figure out who they were- it was very bizarre looking set-up. A couple of well-meaning Burlingamers were trying to talk some sense into the representative at the table, and she seemed much more interested in her cell phone conversation.
