Dedicated to Empowering and Informing the Burlingame Community

The City Council will hold a study session on the state of the city sidewalks on August 8th at 7:00 p.m. in the Lane Community Room, Main Library, 480 Primrose Road. Agenda items include:

a. City's critical capital improvement needs and backlog
b. Funding options
c. Feedback/Questions/Direction

and of course public comments.

Very important for those who can't make the study session and have strong feelings that our City should be covering sidewalk problems:

Comments should be emailed to sidewalks@burlingame.org or address a letter to Sidewalk Program, 501 Primrose Road, Burlingame, CA 94010. For questions, please call (650) 558-7242

Has anyone noticed the removal of trees in Washington Park?

The Park dept seems to be making a joke of the loss of trees there.
I saw the stump of a tree removed made into a chair.
I understand that 3 more Hertiage trees will be removed.
    What is going on?

You can contact the beautification committee to receive minutes of their last meeting where the Washington Park trees were discussed, as well as the new “chair.” Just call Park/Rec, and speak with Ms. Harvey. She is very responsive.
