Am I the only one wondering what ever happened to that parking study. We heard several months ago that it was finished, but what was the outcome? (Perhaps I missed something?) Today we heard from Councilman Coffey that he wanted top priority given to providing more parking in the town. But is this based on the results of the parking study ; if so, what were they?

I expect Coffey thinks we should bulldoze a couple more residences so we can make more parking spaces.

What was the comment from O’ Mahoney who said something about cars and people actually not wanting to walk … didn’t understand what she was trying to say but perhaps it was erudite.

During the end of the meeting yesterday, Public Works Director, George Bagdon, stated that he would be working to schedule a study session for the City Council to review the results of the parking study. He mentioned a possible date of February 22nd, but I will post when the date has been settled.
