Did anyone else notice at today's meeting some interesting personality dysfunctions?

It seems that if our most intelligent, most hardworking, most committed, most energized, most civic minded council member had said "Black is black" there would have been three council members that would have said "No, black is not black and we can't afford to fund the color black in the budget".

Interesting that this more intelligent, more hard working, etc. councilmember's ideas were clapped when others were not! When will the triumvirate get it!

    Hi folks,

Long time no talk. That Coffey…he’s dumb as a stump, huh? If you said to him, “black is white” he would probably just nod cluelessly. I wish this morning’s meeting had been televised, so everyone could see the stump.

Coffey’s “goals” were two bete noirs of Burlingame: The p-word as in parking and the s-word as in safeway. Nothing really constructive and I think the d-word as in direction was uttered!

OOPS, “Bobble” head Coffey slipped up, when he answered “Da Mayor’s” question before he asked it. Makes one wonder, did they rehearse their two-man comedy act, prior to the meeting?

I was impressed to see Cathy and Terry came prepared to visit and discuss the various issues associated with the proposed budget. Unfortunately “Da Mayor” slammed them and didn’t even have the courtesy to thank them for their input.
