The agenda is now out for the City Council Budget Policy and Goal Setting Study Session to be held this Saturday, January 29 in the Lane room at 9:00 am.
There will be time for public comments and community group funding will be discussed – always interesting to many of us who volunteer for Burlingame non-profits. The Council will discuss Goals for FY 2005-2006, share community input, give us their ideas and seek consensus on priorities. It should be an illuminating morning!

Jim N., Is public comment going to be allowed before the session, or after? I’ve been to several of these, and the comment sessions at the end just seem ridiculous, after all the decisions have been made.

The agenda http://cityofburlingame.org/council/?action=detail&Type=agenda&ID=605 states that public comments will be at (approximately) 10:35am prior to each council member stating their goals for the year.
