A copy of the Facilities Master Plan is NOW being made available in the library after enquiries had been made at City Hall for copies.

It will NOT be included in the upcoming budget due to lack of available funds.

Like duh!

It took a while but I was able to get a copy of the Facility Master Plan. Unfortunately, it is a miserable copy of a copy that was copied previously, so the areas that are in color, I am unable to read the figures. And for this they charged me $11.40, such a deal. I will be going back to the city and hopefully obtain a better copy.

Of the 75 pages, there is a passel of “pork” hidden in the plan. It is interesting how the bond measures are bundled so you have to take the good with the “pork” or nothing. I would suggest we push to bifurcate the bond proposal, so the residents could accurately express the willingness (at the polls) on how they wish to spend their hard earned $$$$$$$.
