   You forgot to mention that the flyers had to be reprinted because the Mayor did not like some of the wording and permission was not given to send the monies to the City Manager. All this baloney proves once again that the best of motives gets stiffled by insane politics!

   How did the San Mateo Times mess this up so badly? We need them to send back the last young reporter who was a stickler for detail or train the new ones. Let’s hope it happens before the campaigns start or it could be a mess out there. These guys are usually very good–must be a rookie error

   Dan Anderson needs to be given a lot of credit for keeping this issue alive. We sent in a check and promptly received a very nice acknowledgement/thank you from CBB-thanks to Dan. Without CBB and Dan-there would be no money coming in to help fund the crossing guards.

   Dan has been the co-head of the CBB and there are many many dedicated volunteers who have helped out with the $32 solution and other CBB projects. Volunteers designing posters, volunteers who print the flyers, volunteers who run the website, volunteers who deliver the flyers and volunteers who designed and wrote the thank you letters. It is truly a group effort by people who take the time out of their busy lives to help out. Thank you, Linda, for acknowledging that the CBB is working hard to get things done! It can only be a success because of the group effort.
