The Budget Study Session on Tuesday, June 1 at 6:00 pm in the Lane Room, Burlingame Public Library is an important meeting. Here we will find out how the City will be spending money in FY 04-05. Which community groups will be given City funding? Maybe as in Belmont – our council will decide to forgo this largesse to "community groups" and use these monies for other more pressing needs.

I hope the City will inform us how much is in the budget for the Crossing Guards Fund including what monies have been received from concerned residents of Burlingame – residents avec-enfants & sans-enfants!
