Dedicated to Empowering and Informing the Burlingame Community

We know it's a short hop from Millbrae to B'game so one has to wonder if the recent Millbrae arson suspicions play into the latest B'game events.  The Daily Journal police report notes

Four suspicious fires in Burlingame in the last two weeks and a recent incident in which a male was seen starting a fire has police asking the public for help. At about 8:20 p.m., the male was seen starting a fire along the Caltrain line between Howard and Bayswater avenues on the west side of the tracks, according to police.

Police are asking anyone with any information to contact Cpl. Brett Murphy at (650) 777-4100 or email: murphy@burlingamepolice.org.

On July 30th, some early morning passers-by spotted this impending disaster at the train station on the Ave.  Let's have everyone keep their eyes open.  This could have been a serious loss to the community just like the Millbrae disaster.

I still like the idea of cameras in some high-traffic, high profile areas of the city.

Over the past few years, I’ve seen several Bgame High School boys selling dope there.
Yeah, I still use the word “dope”.

Joe ,I’m willing to donate my time to rebuild this deck if somebody will donate the material.

  3. Idiots…
What kind of Dope did you observe being sold?
    Was it Penis?

Sir Paul, what a nice gesture. Let’s check with the JPB on what can be done.
    Holyroller, is that a typo?

Did that space ever get leased up?
Vacant space tends to attract vandalism.
I’d recommend that the city allows it to be used for either office or retail. I’ve looked at it in the past with a craft beer bar client. The inside space with the lawn and gazebo could be a fun beer garden ala http://www.gourmethausstaudt.com/
As for cameras, considering the 20 person stabbing brawl that occurred outside of Vinyl and the general post midnight crowd at the bars in downtown, I think that cameras with polite warning signs are perfectly acceptable.

  6. Yes.
I did not write that disgusting comment.
It may have been a visiting family member.
