Mark your calendars for next Sunday, Febuary 26th. Yes, it's Oscar Day, but it's also the day of the great Burlingame memory Teaser and Trivia Bowl. It'll be held at The Burlingame Library Lane Community Room and it will feature long tome residents and business folks and audience participation. Fun for the whole family! Starts at 2pm.
I can recall at least two excellent trial runs for this type of Historical Society meeting. The one that focussed on Seabiscuit, the Crosby’s, etc was stellar as people who still live here and recall those days spoke up at length during the Q&A was special. The one run by local baseball aficionado John Ward drew in a good crowd of people who recalled a lot of the local players, ballfields, etc and it great as well. This should be fun!
