The League of Women Voters' candidates' debate is a local favorite during election season.  Unlike the newspaper endorsement interviews and the union-hack interviews, these are public and those attending get to submit questions.  The questions don't always get asked and sometimes don't get answered when they are asked, but it's fun either way.

See you in Council Chambers on Wednesday, October 26th at 7pm.  It usually goes about 90 minutes.  The interesting thing this year will be how long the candidates get to give their stump speeches and handle each question since there are only three of them.  Plenty of time for a change!

    It’s nice that they are having a debate but by October 26th most people would have voted by mail. Too bad this was not scheduled earlier in the month.
