At the tail end of a S.M. County Times article about the Bay Meadows II development, there were some interesting housing density numbers that Sue Lempert had asked staff to find.
They are:
21 units per acre at The Crossings in Mountain View
60 units per acre at The Crossing in San Bruno
62 units per acre at the Prometheus in San Mateo
It would be very helpful to get this kind of data on various proposals in Burlingame as they come up. It would be even more helpful to use "bedrooms per acre" rather than "units" which could vary in size.
