The organizers of Burlingames second annual Pet Parade on Sunday, September 25 2005, are inviting Burlingame schools, nursery schools, Boy Scout and Girl Scout troops, community groups, pet product companies and animal associations to register for booths during the event. Booths are free for school, Scout and childrens groups; there is a $25 charge for other organizations. Each group is responsible for bringing its own card table, chairs and signage. Groups are welcome to pass out information about their activities, sell craft items or simple dessert items such as cookies, do face painting, make balloon animals or provide instant pet portraits.

The parade will begin at 11:30 a.m. on Broadway and will be followed by a Street Festival. It is sponsored by the Burlingame Merchants Association, Daily Journal and is cosponsored by the Burlingame Lions Club, which will offer a barbecue lunch.
