The Planning Commission approved 220 California Drive with Brownrigg approving and Keighran seconding. The applicant has done business in Burlingame for 21 years so hands off WBS and let her continue in a new location. As was mentioned by a planning commissioner – the general plan for that area "allows printing".

Revising the zoning regulations for auto row included discussion on keeping "the character of Auto Row" and Auran didn't quite say the golden goose crapola but came close. Mrs. Keighran wanted to know why this was being "rushed through". Good question but insufficient answer.

There were some "small people speaking up for the small businesses"!

Glad Mrs. Keighran is running but if the rumor is true that another planning commissioner wants to run, he ain't getting my vote in a million years!

I’ve been wondering if Ralph Osterling might be thinking of another run at it. What have you heard, Fiona?

Can you believe how badly the Daily News Phantom screwed up the planning commissioner appointments last week. The article had Coffey and O’Mahony nominating Chris Keel–who just quit! That was bad enough but then they thought Jerry Deal has a place in SF and FLORIDA. Oops…does the Phantom run corrections?

I didn’t mean Osterling but there are rumors that he might. I like his wife who is a very nice lady.

I am very pleased that PIP will be allowed to conduct her business there; now I can actually walk to make copies, yippee!! I’d love to see more pedestrian activity on that street, and hope that Sams does well in his new home, as well. Now it is time for a master plan, including Howard. Poor Howard Ave., it could be such a terrific destination.

It is time to think about the whole town, and put a vision together for everyone. The piecemeal zoning needs to be over and done with, and we need to look at where we want to be twenty or thirty years down the road; or even fifty to seventy-five. Let’s create a wonderful future of our town for everyone to enjoy.

Let me be the first to say that whatever the spouse of a candidate or an elected official is like is irrelevant :-0

    Joe, I was being kind!
