I couldn't help notice today that the infamous Apple Cube has started to double as a "work of art". On some of the simulated quartz rectangles, graffiti artists (or bored kids) have been at work. And why not? The building begs for some interest, no real windows, no awnings, bleak as a bunker. It is actually the most perfect building on which to grafitti., for each "artist" has exactly as much "turf" as the next. Who knows… maybe when if all the rectangles get graffitied, the building will actually become, a true public "work of art." And that would be quite interesting!

One response to “Graffiti or Art?”

If you look down at the sidewalk in front of the bunker, it looks like people have either thrown up all over the sidewalk or someone died there. It is especially gross for a relatively new piece of sidewalk but maybe it is considered art too!
