Can the lurkers from City Hall please email me (FionaLiz@crescentcreative.com) or the website editor when the long awaited parking study will be completed.

(1) Did hiking the parking fees change people's habits?
(2) Did you include the vast number of empty parking spaces on California Drive?
(3) Did you include the mostly empty spaces on Burlingame Square (yes Rosalie there is one) by the tennis courts?
(4) How many $$ are available now from these parking fees? It was estimated to be about $500,000
(5) Where is it?

If some cities can have "free" parking during certain times of the year, why can't Burlingame?

Yesterday a city employee told us at the council meeting that the cost of moving 19 parking slots to make the train station plaza would cost $960,000. Wasn't that the cost of pulling down a house for the Broadway parking lot? Can't we be more creative than that for 19 parking spaces?

Show us the study! Show us the money!

Car man Harvey said it would be a hardship to give up 6 spaces to one of the auto-related businesses he works with even though Galligan was begging for a compromise.

Why didn’t one of our council members ask why Harvey was getting more than he had before if everyone else was grovelling for a parking space.

Come on, guys, speak up and ask the important questions.

You can ask a deaf man questions all day, but you won’t get his attention and you certainly won’t get an answer.

We have heard from the City that the parking study will be in front of council in February. We look forward to seeing it.
