The election office has finally released the results of the Nov 4 election afer counting more than 700 absentee ballots that had been delivered to the polling stations on election day.

With the final count now available we can ask whether the exxuse of low voter turnout and voter apathy is correct. The numbers pleae?
Ooops, 2003 had 1,226 more votes cast than when Coffee and Janney were elected the first time in ’99. So much for that excuse. What will the new excuse be???? nothing apathetic about a 13% increase in votes especially in a year when several cities on the peninsula canceled their elections due to a lack of candidates.
