Dedicated to Empowering and Informing the Burlingame Community

A number of Burlingame residents were surprised to receive a pre-recorded phone message from Mike Coffey this morning urging them to vote for him and Mary.

They were even more surprised to receive another call about an hour later saying "Hello Burlingame voter. You may have received a call earlier from Mayor Mike Coffey asking you to vote for him tomorrow. The election is not tomorrow, but Tuesday. This is not the Mayors fault."

I hope nobody rushed out to vote early.

  1. The incumbents would be more respected if they got the voting day right (oh sorry it wasn’t the Mayors fault!) and their sniffer dogs stopped harrassing the latest letter writer who is endorsing a challenger. Fancy Schwalm emailing the Lions Club members over a letter in the newspaper. Where do these people come from!

  2. The gang who couldn’t shoot straight rides again!

I think most people find those annoying recorded calls a real turn-off. Getting two of them has got to be a negative to anyone who got them.

We all know that it’s NEVER the Mayor’s fault.
