The project to repave a number of streets in B'game is going full bore unlike what's not happening to fix ECR. I drove ECR yesterday with a friend from San Bruno who was reminded of the streets in Beirut during our trip.
Contast that with Occidental Ave. from St. Paul's to the San Mateo Park boundary. In just a couple of days the old surface (which wasn't really that bad) has been removed and new asphalt is about to get laid down.
The day after I made the original post, the whole street was finished except for striping. That contractor knows how to get things done!
