We've moved the clocks and the evenings are getting longer and nicer. More rain in the forecast, but nice enough weather that my pear has its first blossom blooming. It's the first day of Spring so here is your Spring tree-hugger post.

Pear blossoms snowing all over.
Lots of pear trees in Haeldsburg- Given my superstitious mother, I’m always on patrol for signs and symbols, totems and fetishes: in Healdsburg Square I saw a wooden bench given in loving memory of an Irish woman and there’s that Irish blessing poem on it. Someone- on this St. Patrick’s Day, placed among the pear blossoms, a potato. -
