Dedicated to Empowering and Informing the Burlingame Community

I'm just guessing here, but I will bet the "Burlingame Advocates for Renter Protection" flyers that have popped up on some vacant storefront windows on the Avenue were not placed there with the owner's or last tenant's permission.  I've spent a good deal of time asking permission to place flyers that are a lot less controversial than this one and I know how cautious the tenants can be with their windows.

Since I know a bit about community activism and advertising it, allow me to suggest to BARP that it would be viewed negatively in B'game to be advocating for "respect for people" by disrespecting other people's property.

One response to “Renter Protection or Store Owner Protection?”

the last tenant is irrelevant since they are no longer a tenant…the owner on the other hand, is relevant. however, if the owners is not PRESENT to complain, then i doubt it’s a problem, certainly not as much a problem as the EMPTY STOREFRONT.
