Dedicated to Empowering and Informing the Burlingame Community

We are planning to move the Burlingame Voice blog to a new technical base platform called TypePad. We expect that the new platform will provide Burlingame Voice bloggers with an industry-standard, scalable site that is operated and maintained by a company formed to run blogs. We will rely on TypePad for enhancements in usability, spam management and overall performance as well as offering a convenient user registration process that also works wtih other TypePad-hosted blogs. You can read about the platform and the company (called Six Apart) at www.typepad.com.
The look and feel of the blog will be very similar to the current version and all of the past blog posts and comments will continue to be available. As always, please send comments and suggestions to editor@burlingamevoice.com or just add them as comments to this post.

Let’s hope that all the rich history of the Burlingame Voice will be migrated to this new platform too.

Looking forward to a “new platform” especially as we move forward to the building of our new Safeway and to our upcoming Burlingame city council election season where three seats will be open (Keighran, O’Mahony and Baylock).

When will this “platform” be ready, Joe?
