The San Mateo Union High School District will hold a special meeting to approve a contract and work order for projects under Measure D. A $37,777 contract for American Asphalt will be voted on to demolish concrete at Mills High School. Mills also doesn't need a temporary classroom which was placed on site during recent construction. A $69,155 contract to dismantle the classroom and return the classroom will be discussed. At the same meeting, the board will consider increasing the cost of removing contaminated soil at Burlingame High School by $14,582. Additional contaminated soil was found during the removal process already under way.

The board meets 6 p.m. Wednesday, July 11 at the district office, 650 N. Delaware St., San Mateo.
