From the City of Burlingame – Burlingame City Council is seeking to appoint a commissioner to fill an upcoming vacancy due to a current term expiring in April. The new term is for the full four years ending in 2010. Current procedures call for any commissioner desiring reappointment to apply in the same manner as all other candidates. Go to http://www.burlingame.org/council/commission%20opening4plng.htm> to download the applications from Burlingame's website or pick them up from the City Manager's office in City Hall. Application deadline is set for Friday, April 14, 2006.

    The planning commission is very under-represented by women. Not a one on it anymore. Calling all Burlingame women! Please think about it and apply. It would be nice to have somebody new and not the usual suspects for a change.
