Dedicated to Empowering and Informing the Burlingame Community

As the volume of traffic on the Burlingame Voice continues to climb (we had over a quater of a million hits last month) several people have asked for some additional ways to see what's hot and what's not.

We have modified the front page (http://www.burlingamevoice.com) to show the most active posts (based on comments received) in the past 24 hours, the past week, the past month, the past year and overall.

The editors appreciate any constructive feedback that will help make the Burlingame Voice even more useful as a means to informing and empowering the Burlingame community.

Wow these numbers are really incredible. Thank you to all the longtime views/newer bloggers who are contributing, as well. It really makes things more interesting.

This makes it so easy to see what you have missed if you skip a few days. I love it; thank you!

    Great site.

In spite of some of the venum spewed by some, in general it provides a good forum for new ideas. It would be great if some of those who are reading would actually post so more opinons can be heard. We can drown out the angry little mob if you help. I know that the vocal mean-spirited, nasty posts truly don’t represent the majority of Burlingam. Also, pass this on to others so they may write in their free time. We can’t allow the political process in Burlingame to be hijacked by a few, loud and mean people. We will speak against these tactics in November, but intil then, let the rest of us know if you are as disgusted by this as I am.

    Nasty, nasty, nasty, Ray Park!

Ray Park, Where were the mean spirited nasty posts? I must have missed them.

I agree that this website is becoming THE place for political (or other) news in Burlingame. Thank you for starting this website and for maintaining it so well. I’d like to see two new threads started by Admin. The first is: “Who I’m Voting For for City Council, Whom I’m Not Voting For and Why” Maybe this would encourage some viewers (but non-posters) to start giving us their opinions. The second thread I’d like to see started is: “Who I’m Voting For for School Board, Who I’m Not Voting For and Why”…..

Thank you to those who monitor this site regularly. That must loads of work, to make sure nothing violates the Terms of Use. Thanks to whomever for doing all that work. This site is truly a pleasure, and you’ve made it much easier to use, for the not computer savy,(like myself!)
